So, it started out that this guy, Akash, had his company taken by the bank as his market crashed and he had loaned 12 million bucks from the bank. His friends was so freaked out as they found out that he loaned 12 million bucks instead of only 1 million. They had signed the agreement of the loan as they thought it was only 1 million they had to pay back.

Akash resorted to committing suicide. He went to a bridge. He gathered the courage to jump off the bridge into the sea. When he was just about to jump off, a girl said " Hey, just do it " He was shocked. The girl said again, " This kind of things, you should not wait and think about it, you should just go " The girl was actually kinda drunk. Then he kept quiet and was ready to jump when the girl said again " You know, when I was a kid, I hated drinking medicine. But my mum said, count to 3 then gulp it down, don't think too much about it, just do it. " Then Akash was ready to jump off again but the girl stopped him and said " Hey, " Akash said " WHAT? " The girl was like " Okay, okay, I shut up. I zip my lips okay. " Then she got up. She stood beside the Akash and said " Okay. 1.... 2.... " Akash looked at her like " Is she really gonna do it? " Akash closed his eyes and waited for the girl to say '3'. When the girl did, the people who were in charge of the sea, came on a boat and flashed light at them and shouted " GET OFF THE BRIDGE NOW! " Then, they went different paths. The girl went left and the guy went right.

While walking, Akash tried to find another way to die. When a car approached, he ran into it and got knocked down. While he was doing so, the girl tried to jump off the bridge but slipped and fell back on her head.

Akash woke up in a hospital bed. He was so disheartened when he found out he was alive. One of his friends came to visit. He said the rest wasn't ready to meet him as he had insulted them in the first place. His friend ( Deven ) said that the bank has summoned for them to come on 30th december.

Akash laid back and thought of running away from the hospital. He got up and ran out to the halls. When he was turning back, he bumped into the girl. They were like " You? What are you doing here? " Each of them explained what had happened when they both turned away. They both wanted to get out of the hospital quietly. They explained to each other that they wanted to die.

They managed to run away from the hospital. Here's a brief summary,

Anjaana Anjaani is the story of Kiara (Priyanka Chopra), based in San Francisco, while Aakash (Ranbir Kapoor) is a New York City boy. Aakash has got to clear a huge loan of $12 million. Suicide seems the only option to him. He decides to jump off the George Washington Bridge. It is when he bumps into Kiara; who is also bound to commit suicide because she caught her fiance Kunal (Zayed Khan) cheating on her. They both try to put an end to their lives but they deterred by the coastguards. Then Aakash deliberately gets hit by a car and Kiara falls on the bridge and breaks her neck. However they are hospitalized and both get to know each other. They both try to kill themselves five times, try asphyxiating each other, but it doesn't happen anytime. They decide to end their lives on 31st of December. With 20 days to go, they decide to fulfill their unfinished wishes and thus begins their journey. The both do stuff like swimming in the middle of Atlantic Ocean, partying etc. They venture out to Las Vegas on a holiday and kissed then slept together. That is when they realize that they love each other but none of them confesses. On Aakash's insistence, Kiara moves back with her parents and gives Kunal a second chance, while Aakash moves in with his friend and colleague and decides to go back to India and start afresh, on the night of December 31st. He attends the bank settlement and makes up with his friends with whom he was at loggerheads. On the 31st, Kiara realizes that she was totally in love with Aakash and Kunal drops her to the airport to go to the same bridge where both Kiara and Aakash had decided to meet on the night of 31st of December to finally end their lives. Kiara reaches the bridge and doesn't finds Aakash and thinks she will never see him again. Just then Aakash arrives and proposes to her and she accepts, then they kiss each other.

I would strongly recommend you guys to borrow this book : Beautiful Malice by Rebcca James. It's awesome. Seriously. I'm too lazy to share it here. Bye.
